Seth Conner
Seth Conner (born January 29, 1992) is an American professional baseball coach. He is the assistant hitting coach for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Playing career Conner attended Logan-Rogersville High School in Rogersville, Missouri. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 41st round of the 2010 MLB draft and signed with them. Conner spent the 2010 through 2016 season in the Toronto system, playing for the GCL Blue Jays, Bluefield Blue Jays, Vancouver Canadians, Lansing Lugnuts, and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Coaching career Conner began his coaching career in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization in 2017. He was an assistant coach for the Great Lakes Loons in 2018. He served as the hitting coach for the Ogden Raptors in 2019. The Great Lakes Loons are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are located in Midland, Michigan, and play their home games at Dow Diamond, which opened in April 2007. History The Midwest League came to Battle Creek, in 1995 after the franchise formerly known as the Madison Hatters moved. The team was first known as the Battle Creek Golden Kazoos. The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are a Minor League Baseball team based in Manchester, New Hampshire. The team, which plays in the Eastern League, is the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays major league club. The ''Midland Daily News'' is a daily newspaper which serves Midland County, Michigan. The offices for the paper are located at 219 East Main Street in downtown Midland; the paper is widely circulated around Midland County.
