It was released on January 22, 2013, by MCA Nashville., and is Allan's first number-one album on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart, debuting in the top spot on February 9, 2013. Set You Free (Chisel Album)
Set You Free is the second and final album by punk rock band Chisel originally released on June 6, 1997 on Gern Blandsten Records. In 2023, a remastered and expanded edition was released by The Numero Group. Background Chisel was formed in 1990 by guitarist/vocalist Ted Leo, bassist Chris Infante, and drummer John Dugan. The band originally came from South Bend, Indiana, but moved to Washington, D.C. in 1994. The band released several singles, eventually releasing the ''Nothing New'' compilation in 1995. After ''Nothing New'''s release, Infante left the group and was replaced by Chris Norborg. It was followed up by their second album, ''8 A.M. All Day'', in 1996. Recording The album was recorded by Nicolas Vernhes at the Rare Book Room in Brooklyn, New York for ten days between October and November of 1996. Nomos (band)
Cork-based Nomos were an Irish traditional music band during the 1990s. The group formed in 1990 and consisted of Niall Vallely on concertina, Vince Milne on fiddle, Frank Torpey on bodhran, Gerry McKee on bouzouki, and Eoin Coughlan on vocals and bass. They have been described as one of the "most popular Irish bands of the 1990s," and as "one of the more innovative and fiery Irish traditional bands". Origins of the band Originally the group included Liz Doherty on fiddle and John Spillane on vocals and guitar. Doherty and Spillane formed Nomos with Vallely, Torpey, and McKee at University College Cork. Tammy Ranae Buffum, known as Tammy Trent, is an American Christian singer. Buffum first became known as a state finalist in the Assemblies of God "Teen Talent Competition" in 1985. She is best known for the 2000 single "My Irreplaceable" which was No. 1 on the Christian chart. "Set You Free" is a song written and recorded by English rave band N-Trance, featuring vocals from English singer Kelly Llorenna. It was first released as a white label record in 1992, then officially released as a single in April 1994, just making the UK top 40 at No. 39. A re-release in January 1995 was much more successful, peaking at No. 2 in the UK. Same year, it was included on the band's debut album, '' Electronic Pleasure'' (1995). Theodore Francis Leo is an American singer and musician. He is the frontman and lead guitarist of the rock group Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, and in 2013, he and Aimee Mann formed the indie rock duo The Both.
