Sergio P. Corpus
Sergio P. Corpus (9 September 1913 – 17 February 2004) was a Filipino businessman who became a Chairman and President of some insurance companies, a co-founder of an insurance association and the head of an insurance institute. Family He was the son of Rafael Corpus who represented Zambales as an Assemblyman in the Third Philippine Legislature (1912-1916). He was married to Clara Oben with whom he had four children—Maria Cristina Teresita, Antonio Maria, Maria Clara Veronica and Luis Maria. Education Corpus finished high school at the Ateneo de Manila University in 1932. Rafael Corpus
Rafael Corpus (October 24, 1880 – July 21, 1960) was a Philippine economist, politician, and statesman who served as both chairman and president of the Philippine National Bank. Corpus was born in San Antonio, Zambales, Philippines, and finished his Bachelor of Arts degree at the Ateneo de Manila University in 1897. He then studied at the University of Santo Tomas and later studied law at Escuela de Derecho in 1903. He then went to the United States to take up a post graduate course at George Washington University in 1905. He represented the province of Zambales's lone district as an assemblyman in the Third Philippine Legislature in 1912. He was appointed Solicitor General in 1914, a position he held until 1916. He became Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 1922. Zambales
Zambales, officially the Province of Zambales ( fil, Lalawigan ng Zambales; ilo, Probinsia ti Zambales; Pangasinan: ''Luyag/Probinsia na Zambales''; xsb, Probinsya nin Zambales), is a province in the Philippines located in the Central Luzon region. De La Salle University
De La Salle University ( fil, Pamantasang De La Salle or Unibersidad ng De La Salle), also referred to as DLSU, De La Salle or La Salle, is a private, Catholic coeducational research university run by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Taft Avenue, Malate, Manila, Philippines. It was established by the Christian Brothers in 1911 as the De La Salle College (DLSC) in Nozaleda Street, Paco, Manila with Blimond Pierre Eilenbecker, FSC serving as director, and is the first De La Salle school in the Philippines. The institution moved to its present location in 1921.
