Sergi López (actor)
Sergi López i Ayats (born 22 December 1965) is a Spanish actor mostly known for his work on '' Dirty Pretty Things'', ''Solo mía'', and ''Pan's Labyrinth''. He has developed a substantial career in both Spanish films and French films. Early life Sergi López was initiated in theater in representations of typical nativity plays called ''Els Pastorets'', in his native city. He started to study theater in Barcelona but completed his studies in France, in the school of Jacques Lecoq. He is fluent in Catalan, Spanish, French and English. Career In 1991, he auditioned for French director Manuel Poirier. López made his film debut that year in Poirier's ''La Petite amie d'Antonio'' (1992). The Málaga Festival, formerly Málaga Spanish Film Festival (FMCE), is an annual film festival held in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain. The festival was established to promote Spanish cinema and help disseminate information about Spanish films. Since 2017, it features an additional focus on Ibero-American films. Marion Vernoux (; born 29 June 1966) is a French director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis, Vernoux was the only daughter of a casting director and of a set decorator. After several experiences as a production assistant, she debuted in 1988 as co-director of the music video for the song "N'importe quoi" by Florent Pagny, and in 1990 she wrote the film '' Pacific Palisades'', inspired by her own experiences.
