Serghei Lașcencov
Serghei Lașcencov (, born 24 March 1980 in Zdolbuniv, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Ukrainian SSR) is a retired Moldovan Football (soccer), footballer and the former captain of the Moldova national football team, Moldovan national team. In 2010, he was disqualified for five years for match-fixing. Career In the summer of 2008 Lașcencov moved to Azerbaijan Premier League side AZAL PFC, Olimpik Baku on an initial one-year contract. For the 2009–10 AZAL PFC season, 2009–10 season he was made captain of the team. In August 2010, Lașcencov was given a lifetime ban from football for his involvement in the match-fixing surrounding FC Metalist Kharkiv, Metalist Kharkiv and FC Karpaty Lviv, Karpaty Lviv's game on 19 April 2008 during the 2007–08 Ukrainian Premier League, 2007–08 season. Zdolbuniv
Zdolbuniv (, ; ) is a small city in the Rivne Raion of Rivne Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It has an important railway station and cement plant (there is a deposit of chalk). Population: History The town was mentioned in 1497 in the deed, in which the Lithuanian Grand Duke and future King of Poland Alexander Jagiellon committed several villages to Prince Konstanty Ostrogski. Among the villages mentioned in the deed was ''Dolbunov''. The town has had its present name of Zdolbuniv since 1629. In 1569, following the Union of Lublin, Zdolbuniv became part of the Kingdom of Poland, where it remained for over 200 years, until the Partitions of Poland. In 1793, it was annexed by the Russian Empire, and in the interbellum period, it again belonged to Poland. It was a powiat (country) centre in Wołyń Voivodeship during this period. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS; , TAS) is an international body established in 1984 to settle disputes related to sport through arbitration. Its headquarters are in Lausanne, Switzerland, and its courts are located in New York City, Sydney, and Lausanne. Temporary courts are established in current Olympic host cities.
