Sergei Stolyarov
Sergei Dmitrievich Stolyarov (; – 9 December 1969) was a Russian and Soviet film and theater actor. The winner of the Stalin State Prize, Stalin Prize of the first degree (1951) and People's Artist of the RSFSR (1969), he was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1958 on. Tula Governorate
Tula Governorate () was an administrative-territorial unit ('' guberniya'') of the Russian Empire and the Russian SFSR. The governate existed from 1796 to 1929; its seat was in the city of Tula. It was divided into 12 districts. The main towns were Alexin, Bogoroditsk, Byelev, Chern, Epifan, Efremov, Kashira, Krapivna, Novosil, Odoyev, Tula, and Venev. ''Ilya Muromets'' (), also known as ''The Sword and the Dragon'' (US) and ''The Epic Hero and the Beast'' (UK), is a 1956 Soviet fantasy film by noted fantasy director Aleksandr Ptushko and produced at Mosfilm. It is based on the old Russian oral epic poems about the knight Ilya Muromets. Plot The film opens in medieval Russia, where the aging bogatyr Svyatogor entrusts his magical sword to pilgrims before transforming into a mountain as he dies. Meanwhile, the Tugars, an Asiatic pagan horde, terrorize the land, pillaging villages, including that of Ilya Muromets.
