Sergei Kolosov
Sergei Afanasyevich Kolosov (; born May 22, 1986) is a Belarusian people, Belarusian former ice hockey defenceman. He last played with HC Generals Kyiv, Generals Kyiv of the Ukrainian Hockey League. Kolosov was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL) in 2004 NHL Entry Draft, 2004, and signed a contract with the team on June 25, 2008. He played for the Belarus national men's ice hockey team, Belarusian national team at the 2008 IIHF World Championship, 2008, 2010 IIHF World Championship, 2010, and 2011 IIHF World Championship, 2011 World Championships, as well as the 2010 Winter Olympics. HC Generals Kyiv
The HC ''Generals Kyiv'' () was a Ukraine, Ukrainian ice hockey club from Kyiv, participant of the Ukrainian Hockey League. History The club was founded in 2011 and folded in 2017. They were playing in the Ukrainian championship the 2013–14 Ukrainian Hockey Championship, 2013–14 season, finishing on the fifth place and missing the playoffs. In the 2014–15 Ukrainian Hockey Championship, 2014–15 season, the team finished on the second place during the regular season. In the playoffs, they were losing in two straight games in the semi-final towards HK ATEK Kyiv, ATEK Kyiv. In the 2015–16 Ukrainian Hockey Extra League season, 2015–16 season, the team finished on the second place during the regular season. Assist (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the Puck (sports)#In ice hockey, puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the Goal (ice hockey), goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal. The assists will be awarded in the order of play, with the last player to pass the puck to the goal scorer getting the primary assist and the player who passed it to the primary assister getting the secondary assist. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. The 2011 IIHF World Championship was the 75th IIHF World Championship, an annual international men's ice hockey tournament. It took place between 29 April and 15 May 2011 in Slovakia. 2008 IIHF World Championship
The 2008 IIHF World Championship was played between May 2 and May 18, 2008 in the Canadian cities of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Halifax (Nova Scotia) and Quebec City (Quebec). The two venues were the Halifax Metro Centre and the Colisée Pepsi. The tournament was won by Russia men's national ice hockey team, Russia which claimed its first gold medal since 1993.
