Serena Lu (gymnast)
Serena Lu (born 30 April 1998) is an American rhythmic gymnast. She represents the United States in international competitions. Personal life Lu's parents are both originally from China and immigrated to the United States around 1990. She has an older sister sister who also competed in rhythmic gymnastics, Cindy Lu. She has appeared on NBC's 'America's Most Talented Kids' and performed as Sorrow in the Minnesota Opera's production of ' Madame Butterfly'. As a ballet dancer, she has performed 'The Russian Dance' in Loyce Houlton's 'Nutcracker Fantasy', a production of the Minnesota Dance Theatre since 2007, in which she alternated with her sister. Lu graduated from Princeton University in 2020 with a degree in psychology and minors in cognitive science and dance. She works at the New York County District Attorney's office. Monica Rokhman (born May 27, 1997) is an American group rhythmic gymnast. Rokhman was raised in San Diego, California, and represents the United States at international competitions. She competed at the 2013, 2014 and 2015 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. Laura Yihan Zeng (; ''Zeng Yi-Han''; born October 14, 1999) is an American former individual rhythmic gymnast. She represented the United States at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She swept all of the events at the 2015 Pan American Games and at the 2018 Pan American Championships. She is the 2014 Youth Olympic and 2019 Summer Universiade all-around bronze medalist and the 2019 Grand Prix Final hoop bronze medalist. The 2015 FIG World Cup circuit in Rhythmic Gymnastics includes seven category B events. Except for Bucharest, which is a competition for individuals only, all tournaments feature Individual and Group competitions. 2014 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The 2014 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, the 33rd edition, was held in İzmir, Turkey, from September 21 to 28, 2014 at the İzmir Halkapınar Sport Hall. Yana Kudryavtseva of the Russian Federation became the youngest rhythmic gymnast to win back-to-back individual all-around titles in the World Championships at 16 years old. Rebecca Sereda (born 5 May 1996) is a retired American rhythmic gymnast. She represented her country in international competitions. Career Rebecca took up gymnastics in 2002 at age six after her mother saw an advertisement in a newspaper. In 2009, she entered the national team in her first year as a junior, making her international debut at the Deleanu Cup in Bucharest, being 1st with rope, 2nd with ball, 3rd in the All-Around, 4th with clubs, and 6th with hoop. A week later she competed in junior tournament of the World Cup in Pesaro, she was 4th overall, with rope and with ball, 5th with hoop and 6th with clubs. Jasmine "Jazzy" Kerber (born December 4, 1996) is a retired American individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2015 Pan American Games All-around silver medalist. At the National level, she is the 2014 US National champion and 2015, 2013, 2012 US National silver medalist. Personal life Kerber was born to Mark Kerber and Karen Springen and has a younger sister named Gigi. Kerber began gymnastics at age 4, coincidentally after a trip to a local shopping mall where she saw her first rhythmic performance on what just happened to be National Gymnastics Day.
