Serbian Americans () or American Serbs (), are Americans of Serbs, ethnic Serb ancestry. As of 2023, there were slightly more than 181,000 American citizens who identified as having Serb ancestry. However, the number may be significantly higher, as there were some 290,000 additional people who identified as Yugoslavs living in the United States. The group includes Serbian Americans living in the United States for one or several generations, dual Serbian–American citizens, or any other Serbian Americans who consider themselves to be affiliated with both cultures or countries. Trinity Chapel Complex
The Trinity Chapel Complex, now better known as the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sava () is a historic Eastern Orthodoxy, Eastern Orthodox church at 15 25th Street (Manhattan), West 25th Street between Broadway (Manhattan), Broadway and the Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue) in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The church building was constructed in 1850–55 and was designed by architect Richard Upjohn in Gothic Revival architecture, English Gothic Revival style. It was built as one of several uptown chapels of the Trinity Church (New York City), Trinity Church parish, but was sold to the Serbian Eastern Orthodox parish in 1942, re-opening as the Cathedral of St. Sava in 1944.
