Seoul Street (Tehran)
Seoul Street ( fa, خیابان سئول) is a street that runs in the north of Tehran, Iran, close to the city's Evin district. Name On 27 June 1977, the Seoul Metropolitan Government suggested that the cities of Seoul (the capital of South Korea) and Tehran (the capital of Iran) exchange the names of streets on the occasion of the visit to South Korea of Gholamreza Nikpey, the Mayor of Tehran. The following year, "Samneungno" street was renamed Teheran-ro (translation: Tehran Boulevard). Seoul Street's Korean counterpart then ran through a relatively underdeveloped area that been annexed into Seoul in 1963, which then experienced phenomenal growth and waves of construction. Today, Tehran Boulevard is colloquially known as "Teheran Valley" (after Silicon Valley) due to the number of internet-related companies operating there, with Teheran-ro becoming one of the busiest streets in South Korea. Parkway Highway
Shahid Chamran Expressway ( fa, بزرگراه شهید چمران), Also known as Parkway Expressway ( fa, بزرگراه پارکوی) is an expressway in Tehran, Iran, leading from Tohid Square to Parkway Junction. Chamran is the oldest expressway in Tehran, and is unofficially called Parkway Expressway or just Parkway for short. The expressway is named after Mostafa Chamran. , main intersections of Chamran Expressway, from south to north, include dissecting Bagher Khan Street, passing under Jalal-e-Ale Ahmad Expressway at Nasr Bridge, passing under Resalat Expressway and then Hemmat Expressway, and passing under Niayesh Expressway at Velayat Bridge. Teheran-ro
Teheran-ro (translation "Tehran Boulevard") is a street in the Gangnam district of Seoul, South Korea. It runs from Gangnam Station through Yeoksam-dong and into Samseong-dong. It is colloquially known as "Teheran Valley" (after Silicon Valley) due to the number of internet-related companies operating there. The district of Gangnam-gu experienced phenomenal growth and waves of construction, with Teheran-ro becoming one of the busiest streets in South Korea. Its counterpart, Seoul St. in Tehran, Iran, runs in the north of that city, close to the Evin district. Teheran-ro is a 3.5 km section of Seoul City Route 90, and runs eastwards from Gangnam Station to Samseong Station and the COEX/KWTC complex. Yeoksam and Seolleung stations are also on Teheran-ro. Vanak Street
Vanak () is a neighbourhood in the northern part of Tehran, capital of Iran and there is a square and a street named after it. The word Vanak means "Small (ash) Tree" in Persian. The name derives from the original older village of Vanak (''Deh-e Vanak'') in the area, and today there is also a square called Vanak nearby. Vanak is one of the important junctures in Tehran and the midpoint for some of the city's highways such as the ''Jahan-Kudak'' (now ''Haghani''), Chamran, Hemmat and Modarres.
