Seoul Music Awards
The Seoul Music Awards (; SMA) is a major South Korean music awards show presented by the newspaper Seoul Shinmun, ''Sports Seoul''. The award winners are selected based on a combination of criteria, including music sales, popular votes, and expert judges' opinions. The annual ceremony was first held in 1990, when the Grand Prize was awarded to singer Byun Jin-sub. Boy group BTS is the most-awarded artist, having won 27 awards; they are also tied with Exo for the most Grand Prizes won, with four each. Categories The Grand Prize (also known as the Daesang) is typically awarded to one musical act, with the exception of the 9th awards ceremony, when the Grand Prize was shared by H.O.T. (band), H.O.T. and Sechs Kies, and the 10th awards ceremony, when it was shared by Jo Sung-mo and Fin.K.L. Sung Yu-ri
Sung Yu-ri (; born March 3, 1981) is a South Korean actress and singer. She made her entertainment debut in 1998 as a member of the now-defunct K-pop group Fin.K.L. Sung turned to acting in 2002, starring in television dramas such as '' Thousand Years of Love'' (2003), ''The Snow Queen'' (2006), '' Hong Gil-dong'' (2008), and '' Feast of the Gods'' (2010). Shin Hyun-joon (actor)
Shin Hyun-joon (; born October 28, 1968) is a South Korean actor. He is best known for his roles in the films '' Bichunmoo'' (2000), '' Guns & Talks'' (2001), '' Marrying the Mafia II'' (2005) and its sequel, ''Barefoot Ki-bong'' (2006), as well as the television series '' Stairway to Heaven'' (2003–2004). SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium () is an indoor arena, indoor sporting arena located at the Olympic Park, Seoul, Olympic Park in Bangi-dong, Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea. Jang Yoon-jeong (singer)
Jang Yoon-jeong (, born February 16, 1980) is a South Korean trot singer, commonly referred to as "The Queen of Trot". Jang debuted in 1999 and became well-known in 2004 when her single "Eomeona!" ("Oh My Goodness!") topped the charts. The song is often credited with helping re-popularize trot music in South Korea. Taebaek (; ) is a city in Gangwon Province, South Korea. Its name is shared with that of the Taebaek Mountains. Kim Sung-joo (born October 10, 1972) is a South Korean television host and a former announcer. A former sports broadcaster and presenter, he became known to the wider public as a variety show host and for his stint on the reality-variety show ''Dad! Where Are We Going?''.
