SensorThings API
SensorThings API is an Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standard providing an open and unified framework to interconnect Internet of Things, IoT sensing devices, data, and applications over the Web. It is an open standard addressing the Interoperability#Syntactic interoperability, syntactic interoperability and semantic interoperability of the Internet of Things. It complements the existing IoT networking protocols such CoAP, MQTT, Hypertext Transfer Protocol, HTTP, 6LoWPAN, 6LowPAN. While the above-mentioned IoT networking protocols are addressing the ability for different IoT systems to exchange information, OGC SensorThings API is addressing the ability for different IoT systems to use and understand the exchanged information. As an OGC standard, SensorThings API also allows easy integration into existing Spatial Data Infrastructures or Geographic Information Systems. OGC SensorThings API has two parts: (1) Part I - Sensing and (2) Part II - Tasking. OGC SensorThings API Part ...

Observations And Measurements
Observations and Measurements (O&M) is an international standard which defines a conceptual schema encoding for observations, and for features involved in sampling when making observations. While the O&M standard was developed in the context of geographic information systems, the model is derived from generic patterns proposed by Fowler and Odell, and is not limited to geospatial information. O&M is one of the core standards in the OGC Sensor Web Enablement suite, providing the response model for Sensor Observation Service (SOS). Observation schema The core of the standard provides the observation schema. An ''observation'' is an act that results in the estimation of the value of a feature property, and involves application of a specified procedure, such as a sensor, instrument, algorithm or process chain. The procedure may be applied ''in situ'', remotely, or ''ex situ'' with respect to the sampling location. Use of a common model for observation metadata allows data to be combine ...

Mozilla
Mozilla is a free software community founded in 1998 by members of Netscape. The Mozilla community uses, develops, publishes and supports Mozilla products, thereby promoting free software and open standards. The community is supported institutionally by the Nonprofit organization, non-profit Mozilla Foundation and its tax-paying subsidiary, the Mozilla Corporation. List of Mozilla products, Mozilla's current products include the Firefox web browser, Mozilla Thunderbird, Thunderbird e-mail client (now through a subsidiary), the Bugzilla bug tracking system, the Gecko (software), Gecko layout engine, and the Pocket (service), Pocket "read-it-later-online" service. History On January 23, 1998, Netscape announced that its Netscape Communicator browser software would be free, and that its source code would also be free. One day later, Jamie Zawinski of Netscape registered . The project took its name, "Mozilla", from the original code name of the Netscape Navigator browser—a por ...

It is free for personal/non-commercial uses and paid for commercial applications. It was created by Highsoft in Vik, Norway and has been regularly featured in the national media, such as Finansavisen and Dagsrevyen. History Torstein Hønsi is the main creator of the product. The product was first demonstrated and thought up in 2006. In an interview with Finansavisen, he spoke about need for a program for creating graphs and charts, allowing users to publish charts directly on a website. While the company is based in Norway, the product is used globally. It was stated in an interview in 2014, that their customer base is primarily from abroad, with 97% of the company's revenue being generated from clients outside Norway. Highchart products featured on Norwegian television in late 2012, when the parent company featured on a national television show. I ...

PostgreSQL
PostgreSQL ( ) also known as Postgres, is a free and open-source software, free and open-source relational database management system (RDBMS) emphasizing extensibility and SQL compliance. PostgreSQL features transaction processing, transactions with atomicity (database systems), atomicity, consistency (database systems), consistency, isolation (database systems), isolation, durability (database systems), durability (ACID) properties, automatically updatable view (SQL), views, materialized views, database trigger, triggers, foreign keys, and stored procedures. It is supported on all major operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Windows, Linux, macOS, FreeBSD, and OpenBSD, and handles a range of workloads from single machines to data warehouses, data lakes, or web services with many concurrent users. The PostgreSQL Global Development Group focuses only on developing a database engine and closely related components. This core is, technically, what comprises PostgreSQL itse ...

Go (programming Language)
Go is a high-level programming language, high-level general purpose programming language that is static typing, statically typed and compiled language, compiled. It is known for the simplicity of its syntax and the efficiency of development that it enables by the inclusion of a large standard library supplying many needs for common projects. It was designed at Google in 2007 by Robert Griesemer, Rob Pike, and Ken Thompson, and publicly announced in November of 2009. It is syntax (programming languages), syntactically similar to C (programming language), C, but also has memory safety, garbage collection (computer science), garbage collection, structural type system, structural typing, and communicating sequential processes, CSP-style concurrency (computer science), concurrency. It is often referred to as Golang to avoid ambiguity and because of its former domain name, golang.org, but its proper name is Go. There are two major implementations: * The original, Self-hosting (compi ...

JavaScript
JavaScript (), often abbreviated as JS, is a programming language and core technology of the World Wide Web, alongside HTML and CSS. Ninety-nine percent of websites use JavaScript on the client side for webpage behavior. Web browsers have a dedicated JavaScript engine that executes the client code. These engines are also utilized in some servers and a variety of apps. The most popular runtime system for non-browser usage is Node.js. JavaScript is a high-level, often just-in-time–compiled language that conforms to the ECMAScript standard. It has dynamic typing, prototype-based object-orientation, and first-class functions. It is multi-paradigm, supporting event-driven, functional, and imperative programming styles. It has application programming interfaces (APIs) for working with text, dates, regular expressions, standard data structures, and the Document Object Model (DOM). The ECMAScript standard does not include any input/output (I/O), such as netwo ...

HTTP GET
HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) is an application layer protocol in the Internet protocol suite model for distributed, collaborative, hypermedia information systems. HTTP is the foundation of data communication for the World Wide Web, where hypertext documents include hyperlinks to other resources that the user can easily access, for example by a mouse click or by tapping the screen in a web browser. Development of HTTP was initiated by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN in 1989 and summarized in a simple document describing the behavior of a client and a server using the first HTTP version, named 0.9. That version was subsequently developed, eventually becoming the public 1.0. Development of early HTTP Requests for Comments (RFCs) started a few years later in a coordinated effort by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), with work later moving to the IETF. HTTP/1 was finalized and fully documented (as version 1.0) in 1996. It evolved (a ...
