Jack Soble
Jack Soble (May 15, 1903 – 1967) was a Lithuanian who, together with his brother Robert Soblen, penetrated Leon Trotsky's entourage for Soviet intelligence in the 1920s. Later, in the United States, he was jailed, with his wife Myra, on espionage charges. He was born in Vilkaviskis, Lithuania as Abromas Sobolevicius and sometimes used the name Abraham Sobolevicius or Adolph Senin. Biography Early life Soble was born in 1903 as Abromas Sobolevicius in, then-Russian controlled, Lithuania to a wealthy Jewish family. Soble travelled to Leipzig, Weimar Republic in 1921, to attend college, while there he joined the German Communist Party. In 1927 he travelled to the Soviet Union marrying before returning to Germany. Soble studied briefly at the University of Berlin where he became a Trotskyist which led to his expulsion from the Communist Party and the university. Ivan Semenovych Senin (; 26 December 1903 – July 1981) was the First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, and a Member of the Presidium of the Communist Party of Ukraine. Biography Ivan Senin was born in 1903, into a miner's family in Bakhmut uezd. In 1917 he graduated from school in Petrovskyi, and started working at the mine No. 19 at Rutchenkovo, where for four years he was a lamp carrier, and horse driver. In 1921, he was elected the secretary of Rutchenkovo Komsomol committee. In autumn 1922, Senin began studying at Donetsk technical school named after Artem. After the workers' school Ivan Senin graduated from Polytechnic Institute in Kyiv in 1930, then he entered postgraduate school. Vladimir Borisovich Senin (; September 17, 1960, Moscow) is a Russian political figure and deputy of the 8th State Duma. In 2005, he was granted a Candidate of Sciences Degree in Juridical Science. From 1991 to 1993, Senin held high-ranking positions in the system of executive power of Moscow. In 1994-1995, he was the head of the analytical sector of the State Duma apparatus. Senin Sebai (born 18 December 1993) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Kazakhstan Premier League club Kyzylzhar. Career In 2014, he joined Moldovan side Saxan. Sanin Husain
Sanin Husain ( 1847–1909) was a religious and military leader who served the Mahdist State. Even after the Mahdists had been completely defeated by Anglo-Egyptian forces in 1899, Sanin refused to surrender and continued to maintain a Mahdist holdout at Kabkabiya in Darfur. From there, he resisted the reestablished Sultanate of Darfur, repeatedly defeating the armies of Sultan Ali Dinar. Sanin Husain was finally killed by Ali Dinar's forces in a siege of Kabkabiya lasting 17 to 18 months. Col De Sénin
Sanetsch Pass (French: ''Col du Sanetsch'' or ''Col de Sénin'') (el. 2242 m) is a high mountain pass in Switzerland across the western Bernese Alps, connecting Gsteig in the canton of Bern and Sion in the canton of Valais. Although a road leads to the pass from Sion and goes further to the Lac de Sanetsch, it can not be completely traversed by car. In the summer season the pass is accessible by PostBus and can also be traversed by cable car. The highest point of the road is at 2,252 metres. The pass itself is located in Valais 4 km south of the border with Bern. It separates the massif of the Diablerets on the west from the massif of the Wildhorn on the east. The Sanetschhorn and the Arpelistock overlook the pass on the west and east side respectively.
