The Senate Scholz I (German: ''Senat Scholz I'') was the government of the German city-state of Hamburg from 7 March 2011 to 15 April 2015. The Cabinet was headed by First Mayor Olaf Scholz and was formed by the Social Democratic Party, who gained an overall majority in the last state-elections. Peter Tschentscher
Peter Tschentscher (born 20 January 1966) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Since 28 March 2018 he has been the First Mayor of Hamburg. As First Mayor, he is head of the Senate Tschentscher. Since 2008 he has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament. From 2011 until 2018 he served as State Minister of Finance in the first and second governments of Olaf Scholz. Early life and education Tschentscher graduated from high school in Oldenburg in 1985. He later studied medicine and molecular biology at the University of Hamburg, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1995. Cornelia Prüfer-Storcks (born 8 May 1956) is a German politician (SPD) who served as State Minister (''Senator'') for Health and Consumer Protection of the city state of Hamburg in the Senates Scholz I, II and Tschentscher from 2011 until 2020. Barbara Kisseler (8 September 1949 – 7 October 2016) was a German politician. She served as culture senator in the Senate of Hamburg. She was born in Asperden, Cleves. Kisseler studied theater, film and television sciences, German studies and education at the University of Cologne. She began working for Deutschlandfunk, then Westdeutscher Rundfunk and the Carl Duisberg Society. In 1982, she became head of the department of culture for the city of Hilden. He has been State Minister (''Senator'') for School and Vocational Training of the city state of Hamburg since March 2011 and was previously a member of the Hamburgische Bürgerschaft, the Hamburg Parliament from 2008.
