Sena Can
Sena Can (born10 November 2001) is a Turkish sport shooter, who competes in the skeet event. She was a national record holder. She qualified to participate at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Sport career Can started sport shooting in 2016 with the encouragement and support of her father, who is a hunter. In the beginning, she was a member of Osmangazi Belediye Sports Club in her hometown. Currently, she is coached by Ali Rıza Bilgin, and is a member of Bilgin Shooting Club in Konya. She won several medals at Republic Cup and Federation Cup in skeet events. She won the gold medal in the Junior women's category at the 2019 Republic Cup in Konay, and set a new national record with 114 points. The same year, she became Turkish champion, and was selected to the national shooting team. Osmangazi is one of the central metropolitan districts of the city of Bursa in Bursa Province, as well as the fourth largest overall municipality in Turkey. Shooting events at the 2023 European Games were held at the Wrocław Shooting Centre from 22 June to 2 July 2023. Thirty events were programmed, twelve individual (as in the program of the Paris Olympics), twelve by teams and six by mixed teams. Calendar Qualification The highest ranked athlete in each individual event at the 2023 European Games will obtain a non-nominative quota for their NOC for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games .
