Magars
The Magars, also spelled Mangar and Mongar, are the largest ethnic group native to Nepal and Northeast India, representing 6.9% of Nepal's total population according to the 2021 Nepal census. They are one of the main Gurkha tribes. The first home of the Magars was to the west of the Gandaki River and, roughly speaking, consisted of that portion of Nepal which lies between and around about Gulmi District, Gulmi, Arghakhanchi District, Arghakhanchi, and Palpa District, Palpa. Erroll Chunder Sen
Erroll Suvo Chunder Sen (13 March 1899 – after December 1941?) was an Indian pilot who served in the Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force during the First World War, and who was among the first Indian military aviators. Family and early life Sen was born in Calcutta to an Indian father and English mother. His grandfather was the philosopher and social reformer Keshab Chandra Sen; and his aunt was Suniti Devi, the Maharani of Cooch Behar. At an early age, he moved with his mother, brother and sister to England. He was educated at Rossall School in Fleetwood, Lancashire, where he joined its unit of the Officers' Training Corps. First World War Sen applied for a commission in the Royal Flying Corps in November 1916, but his application was rejected as he was under age. ( 1723/1718 – c. 1775) was a Hindu Shakta poet and saint of 18th-century Bengal. Mihir Sen (16 November 1930 – 11 June 1997) was a famous Indian long distance swimmer and lawyer. He was the first Asian to conquer the English Channel from Dover to Calais in 1958, and did so in the fastest time (14 hrs & 45 mins).
