Selçuk Tekay (1953 – 14 June 2021) was a Turkish composer and performing musician. Biography Tekay was born in 1953 in Kağızman, Kars. After his education at Vefa High School and music school he received training from Turkish classical music artists such as Emin Ongan, Feridun Darbaz, and Teoman Önaldı. As an album director, orchestra conductor and violinist, he worked on stage and album works for Turkish Classical Music artist, including Müzeyyen Senar, Zeki Müren, Emel Sayın, Bülent Ersoy, Muazzez Ersoy, Ebru Gündeş and Muazzez Abacı. He composed songs such as ''Beraber Yürüdük Biz Bu Yollarda'', ''Vurgun'', ''Unuturum Diye Yorma Kendini'', ''Yorgunum'', ve ''Aradığın Aşkı Buldun mu?'' He won the ''Golden Butterfly Composer of the Year Award with Vurgun'' in 1991'', Beraber Yürüdük Biz Bu Yollarda'' in 1992'', and Yorgunum Dostlarım'' in 1993''.'' He married Elif Maner in 1991. Kağızman
Kağızman (), formerly Kaghzvan (), is a town in Kars Province in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. It is the seat of Kağızman District.İlçe Belediyesi

Ebru Gündeş (, born 12 October 1974) is a Turkish pop-folk and arabesque singer, actress, and television personality. Career Ebru Gündeş sings the kind of desperately tragic Arabesque love songs that are the core of Turkish pop music. Her debut album, ''Tanrı Misafiri'', was released in 1992, and was successful, selling 1,250,000 copies nationwide. At this stage, she was regarded as a very sweet and innocent-looking girl, slim, dressed in white and with a habit of raising one eyebrow. She was seen on billboards all over Istanbul. Her subsequent albums have also been successful. Gündeş released her fifth studio album ''Sen Allah'ın Bir Lütfusun'' in 1998. Muazzez Ersoy
Hatice Yıldız Levent, better known by her stage name Muazzez Ersoy, (born 9 August 1958) is a Turkish classical music singer. In 1998, with the suggestion of the 33rd government of Turkey's Ministry of Culture, she was chosen as a State Artist. Due to singing nostalgic songs, she is also known with the title "Nostalgia Queen" inside Turkey. In 2006, she was chosen as a goodwill ambassador for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Ersoy spent her childhood and early adulthood in Kasımpaşa, Beyoğlu. Muazzez's paternal family roots are in Kastamonu, a city in the Western Black Sea region. She has previously given concerts as part of Kas-Der (Kastamonu Solidarity Association) and filmed a music video in Tosya district of Kastamonu. She became initially interested in music due to her mother's affinity for music. This passion of her mother influenced Ersoy during her youth, and after finishing secondary school, she decided to continue her studies by taking music lessons. ...
