Selwyn Lymon
Selwyn Jalil Lymon (born September 21, 1986) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Purdue. High school career As a high school athlete, Lymon excelled in two sports. His ability in football enabled him to sign a scholarship to play at Purdue. In basketball, his excellence led to Lymon being named a recipient of the Tiffany Gooden Award, given annually to the most outstanding male or female basketball player in the SAC. A wide receiver (WR), also referred to as a wideout, and historically known as a split end (SE) or flanker (FL), is an eligible receiver in gridiron football. Summit Athletic Conference (IHSAA)
The Summit Athletic Conference, or SAC, is a high school athletic conference consisting of ten high schools located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Three of the schools are private; one being a Lutheran academy, and the other two being Catholic preparatories. The rest are public schools, being part of Fort Wayne Community Schools, Allen County, Indiana, Fort Wayne Community Schools. Two limited members are part of Northwest Allen County Schools and Southwest Allen County Schools. All member schools are located in Allen County, Indiana. Bernard Karmell Pollard (born December 23, 1984) is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers, and was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the 2006 NFL draft. He has also played for the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans. Pollard was dubbed "the Bonecrusher" while at Purdue for his hard hits and tackles, and acquired the nickname "Patriot-Killer" as a professional, after inflicting injuries which would ultimately alter four New England Patriots seasons, including ending Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's 2008 season. Tiffany Gooden (born October 23, 1975) is an American former professional basketball player in the ABL. When her pro career ended, Gooden embarked on a new career as an attorney.
