Selina Jenkinson
Lady Selina Charlotte Jenkinson, Viscountess Milton (3 July 1812 – 24 September 1883), also known by her married names as Selina Wentworth-Fitzwilliam and Selina Foljambe, was a British aristocrat in the 19th century. She was the mother of the Earl of Liverpool Cecil Foljambe. Biography Selina Jenkinson was born in London, England, and was christened on 28 July 1812 at St Marylebone Parish Church. She was the second child of the influential politician Charles Jenkinson, 3rd Earl of Liverpool and his wife Julia Shuckburgh-Evelyn. She was a niece of the Prime Minister Robert Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool. When her father died she took ownership of a rare collection of works of William Shakespeare. On 15 August 1833, she married William Charles Wentworth-FitzWilliam, Viscount Milton (1812–1835), with whom she had one child, a daughter. Cecil Foljambe, 1st Earl Of Liverpool
Cecil George Savile Foljambe, 1st Earl of Liverpool, (7 November 1846 – 23 March 1907), known as the Lord Hawkesbury between 1893 and 1905, was a British Liberal politician. A great-nephew of Prime Minister Robert Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool, he was Lord Steward of the Household under Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman between 1905 and his death in 1907. He was the grandson of Sir Cecil Bishopp, 6th Baronet of Parham, his namesake. Foljambe was a noted ornithologist and was once visited by a young Franklin D. Roosevelt who made a trip specifically to see Foljambe's collection. Background Foljambe was born at Osberton Hall in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. Lord Steward Of The Household
The Lord Steward or Lord Steward of the Household is one of the three Great Officers of the Royal Households of the United Kingdom, Household of the Monarchy of the United Kingdom, British monarch. He is, by tradition, the first great officer of the Court (royal), Court and he takes precedence over all other officers of the household. Historically the Lord Steward oversaw over the Household 'Domestic service, below stairs'. He also presided at the Board of Green Cloth, which in early centuries had a financial, administrative and judicial role (latterly the Board retained a vestigial legal remit, until it was finally abolished in a 2004 reform of local government licensing). Cecil Malone
Cecil John L'Estrange Malone (7 September 1890 – 25 February 1965) was a British politician and pioneer naval aviator who served as the United Kingdom's first Communist member of parliament. Early years and military service Malone was born in Dalton Holme, a parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, on 7 September 1890. He was the son of the Reverend Savile L'Estrange Malone and Frances Mary Faljomb. His maternal grandmother Selina Jenkinson was a daughter of Charles Jenkinson, 3rd Earl of Liverpool. He was related to the sisters Constance Markievicz and Eva Gore-Booth. Malone was educated at Cordwalles School in Maidenhead before joining the Royal Navy in 1905 and went through officer training at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth. On 15 March 1910, he was confirmed as a sub-lieutenant having previously been acting in that rank. Frederick John Howard
Frederick John Howard (1 March 1814 – 28 February 1897) was a British Member of Parliament. Biography Howard, born on 1 March 1814, was the eldest son of Major the Hon. Frederick Howard, third son of Frederick Howard, 5th Earl of Carlisle. His mother was Susan Lambton, daughter of William Henry Lambton.
