After serving as president of Dongfeng Nissan, deputy COO of Nissan, and CEO of Nidec, he joined Hon Hai Technology Group in February 2023 as chief strategy officer (CSO) of the electric vehicle (EV) business. Biography Seki was born in Sasebo, and graduated from Nagasaki Prefectural Sasebo Minami High School in 1980. When he was in high school, he was a sprinter of the track and field team. He created a new algebraic notation system and, motivated by astronomical computations, did work on infinitesimal calculus and Diophantine equations. Masako Seki
was an international table tennis player from Japan. Table tennis career From 1961 to 1965 she won several medals in singles, doubles, and team events in the World Table Tennis Championships and in the Asian Table Tennis Championships. Her eight World Championship medals included four gold medals; two in team event, one in the doubles with Kimiyo Matsuzaki at the 1963 World Table Tennis Championships and one in the mixed doubles with Koji Kimura at the 1965 World Table Tennis Championships. Mamoru Seki
was a dive bomber pilot officer in the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) during World War II. He is best known for being the commander of the dive bomber squadron of carrier '' Shōkaku'' and for leading strikes against United States Navy (USN) carriers in both Battle of the Eastern Solomons and Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands, where they severely damaged ''Enterprise'' on two occasions. He was killed in action during the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands. Early career Mamoru Seki came from a military family; his father was a Captain in IJN and participated in Battle of Tsushima, while his uncle on his mother's side was Vice Admiral Sakonji Seizō. He enrolled in the Imperial Japanese Naval Academy in 1926 and graduated from the 58th class in November 1930. In April 1932, he was commission as Ensign.
