The fourth season of ''Seinfeld'', an American comedy television series created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, began airing on August 12, 1992, and concluded on May 20, 1993, on NBC. Production ''Seinfeld'' was produced by Castle Rock Entertainment and aired on NBC in the United States. The executive producers were Larry David, George Shapiro, and Howard West with Tom Gammill and Max Pross as supervising producers. Bruce Kirschbaum was the executive consultant. This season was directed by Tom Cherones and was largely written by Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry Charles, Peter Mehlman and Andy Robin. "The Trip" is the two-part fourth season premiere of the NBC sitcom ''Seinfeld''. It comprises the 41st and 42nd episodes of the series overall, which aired on August 12 and August 19, 1992. Following Kramer's move to Los Angeles in the season 3 finale, " The Keys", this two-part episode focuses on Jerry and George going to find Kramer in Los Angeles. When they arrive there, Jerry appears on a talk show and he George discover that Kramer is suspected of being a serial killer referred to as the "Smog Strangler". ''Mad About You'' is an American television sitcom starring Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt as a married couple in New York City as they navigate life together. In later seasons, the couple has a daughter. It initially aired on NBC from September 23, 1992, to May 24, 1999, winning numerous awards including four Golden Globe Awards and twelve Primetime Emmy Awards.
