Seifollah Dad
Seifollah Dad (1955-2009) was an Iranian screenwriter and director. He was born in Khurramshahr and studied sociology at Shiraz University. He made his directorial debut with '' Under the Rain'' in 1985, and his second film '' Kani-Manga'' won the Crystal Simorgh for best film. He also edited a number of Iranian films in the 1980s and 1990s. His third and final feature '' The Survivor'' was released in 1995. The Iranian peoples or Iranic peoples are a diverse grouping of Indo-European peoples who are identified by their usage of the Iranian languages and other cultural similarities. Khurramshahr
Khorramshahr ( fa, خرمشهر , also romanized as ''Khurramshahr'', ar, المحمرة, romanized as ''Al-Muhammerah'') is a city and capital of Khorramshahr County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 170,976, in 47,380 households. Khorramshahr is an inland port city located approximately north of Abadan. The city extends to the right bank of the Shatt Al Arab waterway near its confluence with the Haffar arm of the Karun river. The city was destroyed in the Iran–Iraq War, with the 1986 census recording a population of zero. The Survivor (1995 Film)
''The Survivor'' is a 1996 Iranian epic historical drama film about Arab–Israeli conflict starring Salma Al-Masri, Alaa El Din Koksh, Ghassan Massoud, and Jamal Suleiman. The script is based on '' Returning to Haifa'', a novel by the Palestinian author Ghassan Kanafani in 1969. The novel is about Israeli Declaration of Independence and its government in Haifa in 1948. Plot Dr Saeid, his wife (Latifeh), and their infant (Farhan) were living in Haifa during Independence of Israel in 1948. Dr Saeid saw Shamoon, his Jewish childhood neighbor and playmate, while Shamoon tried to bomb in a train and he informed police about incidence.
