Segundo Sol
''Segundo Sol'' (English title: ''A Second Chance'') is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by Globo that premiered on 14 May 2018, replacing ''O Outro Lado do Paraíso'', and ended on 9 November 2018, being replaced by ''O Sétimo Guardião'', with a total of 155 episodes. It is created by João Emanuel Carneiro and directed by Dennis Carvalho. Set in both 1999 and present time, in Bahia, ''Segundo Sol'' gives a trajectory of singer, Beto Falcão, who is forced to fake his death in order to save his family from financial turmoil. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel").
