Seenu Atoll
Seenu Atoll, historically known as Addu Atoll, is the southernmost atoll of the Maldives. Addu Atoll, together with Fuvahmulah, located 40 km north of Addu Atoll, extend the Maldives into the Southern Hemisphere. Addu Atoll is located 540 km south of Malé, the country's capital. Administratively, Addu Atoll is the location of Addu City, one of the four cities of the Maldives. Addu City consists of the inhabited areas of Addu Atoll, namely the natural islands of Hulhudhoo (Addu), Hulhudhoo, Meedhoo (Addu), Meedhoo, Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Maradhoo, Feydhoo (Seenu Atoll), Feydhoo, and Hithadhoo (Addu), Hithadhoo. Thaana, Tãna, Taana or Tāna ( ) is the present writing system of the Maldivian language spoken in the Maldives. Thaana has characteristics of both an abugida (diacritics, vowel-killer strokes) and a true alphabet (all vowels are written), with consonants derived from indigenous and Arabic numerals, and vowels derived from the vowel diacritics of the Arabic abjad. Maldivian orthography in Thaana is largely phonemic. Name H. C. P. Bell, the first serious researcher of Maldivian documents, used the spelling ''Tāna,'' as the initial consonant is unaspirated. The spelling ''Thaana'' was adopted in the mid-1970s, when the government of the Maldives embarked on a short period of Romanization; /t/ was transcribed , as was used for the voiceless retroflex plosive . Seenu (2000 Film)
''Seenu'' is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language musical drama film directed by P. Vasu. The film stars Karthik and Malavika. It is a remake of the 1991 Malayalam film ''Bharatham''. Plot Kesavan ( P. Vasu) is a famous Carnatic singer who performs concerts. He lives with his family, consisting of his wife and son. Seenu ( Karthik) is his younger brother who leads a joyful life. Seenu is very much fond of Kesavan and could not tolerate anyone speaking ill about him. Unfortunately, Kesavan develops a habit of consuming alcohol, which is only known to his wife. Kesavan's wife tries hard to stop him from consuming alcohol, but all her efforts go in vain. She does not reveal this to her family members. Seenu falls in love with his relative ( Malavika). When the family members come to know about Kesavan's habit of drinking, they advise him to stop it as it will bring down the fame what he has earned so far.
