Seema (Meitei Actress)
Huirem Ningol Laimayum Ongbi Seema (8 November 1970 – 17 September 2011) was an Indian actress from Imphal, Manipur. She had appeared in more than 100 Manipuri films. As a producer, she had four Manipuri digital films to her credit. She was best known for her roles in movies like ''Kanaga Hinghouni'', ''Chang Shi Chang'', '' Lakhipurgi Lakhipyari'', ''Naoshum'', '' Yumleima Lamleima'' and '' Thasi Thanou''. ''Yumleima Lamleima'' (Meiteilon: ꯌꯨꯝꯂꯩꯃ ꯂꯝꯂꯩꯃ) is a 2009 Cinema of Manipur, Manipuri film written by Seema and H. Subhas Sharma and directed by Homen D' Wai and Seema. The film is produced by Huirem Seema under the banner of Seema Films and presented by Surjakanta. It stars Lairenjam Olen, Huirem Seema and Devita Urikhinbam in the lead roles. The movie was released at Friends Talkies, Imphal on 4 September 2009. Plot Buddhi is a good-for-nothing bachelor. He luckily stumbled upon a guy's (Nageshore) documents who is applying for a job as MLA's driver. Buddhi deceives the MLA's family by representing himself as Nageshore. However, he honestly performed his duties for the welfare of the family. MLA's daughter Sanahanbi sees this side of Buddhi when his lies are caught. She stands for Buddhi against her family.
