See The Sea
''See the Sea'' (original title: ''Regarde la mer'') is a 1997 French thriller film written and directed by François Ozon and starring Sasha Hails as a young British mother living in a small seaside village in France who takes in a malevolent homeless drifter (played by Marina de Van) while her husband is away on business. Plot An Englishwoman named Sasha lives on France's Île d'Yeu with her husband, who is often away for business, and their infant daughter, Sioffra. One day a young female drifter appears at their door and asks Sasha for permission to pitch her tent in the garden. At first reserved and reluctant, Sasha eventually allows the drifter to camp in the yard. The women begin to develop a relationship with each other. Sasha decides to go shopping and leaves Sioffra in the care of the drifter, though irritated by the latter's unusual behavior. François Ozon
François Ozon (; born 15 November 1967) is a French film director and screenwriter. Ozon is considered one of the most important modern French filmmakers. His films are characterized by aesthetic beauty, sharp satirical humor and a free-wheeling view of human sexuality. Recurring themes in his films are friendship, sexual identity, different perceptions of reality, transience and death. Ozon has achieved international acclaim for his films '' 8 femmes'' (2002) and ''Swimming Pool'' (2003). Olivier Delbosc
Olivier Delbosc (born 1968 in Toulouse) is a French film producer. He previously co-headed Fidelité Productions before launching his own production company Curiosa Films. Biography Delbosc formerly co-managed the company Fidélité Productions with Marc Missonnier, who he met while attending the prestigious Paris film school La Fémis (graduated 1996). Delbosc and Missonnier got their start in the 1990s producing the short films of Francois Ozon, and produced Ozon's feature film debut Sitcom (1998). In 2015, after nearly 20 years at Fidélité, Delbosc created his own production company Curiosa Films, with associate partner Emilien Bignon.
