Secret Affair (TV Series)
''Secret Affair'' () is a 2014 South Korean television series starring Kim Hee-ae and Yoo Ah-in. It aired on cable channel JTBC from March 17 to May 13, 2014 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:50 ( KST) for 16 episodes. A story about a married woman in her 40s who has an affair with a pianist in his 20s, the romance melodrama explores the struggle between attraction and societal expectation. The Baeksang Arts Awards (), also known as the Paeksang Arts Awards, are awards for excellence in film, television and theatre in South Korea. The awards were introduced in 1965 by Chang Key-young, the founder of the newspaper ''Hankook Ilbo'', whose art name was "Baeksang". It was established for the development of Korean popular culture and art and for enhancing the morale of artists. They are regarded as one of the most prestigious entertainment awards in South Korea. The 50th Baeksang Arts Awards () ceremony, organised by ''Ilgan Sports'', took place on May 27, 2014, at Grand Peace Hall, Kyung Hee University, Seoul, beginning at 6:20 p.m. KST. The ceremony was televised live in South Korea by JTBC and was hosted by Shin Dong-yup and Kim Ah-joong. The nominations were announced on April 27, 2014, through the official website. Ajumma (), sometimes spelled ahjumma or ajoomma, is a Korean word for a married, or middle-aged woman. It comes from the Korean word ''ajumeoni'' ().
