Seconds (2014 Film)
''Seconds'' is a Malayalam mystery- thriller film directed by Aneesh Upasana. The film stars Jayasurya, Aparna Nair, Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt, Ambika Mohan, Riyaz Khan, Anusree, Salim Kumar, Shankar Ramakrishnan and Indrans in prominent roles. It was released on 5 December 2014. The film was later dubbed into Tamil and released as ''Andha Sila Nimidangal'' ''(In Those Few Seconds)''. The film is a multi-narrative, told in a non-linear format. The film cuts between present day, where the police officer on investigation asks for the whereabouts of the people who were in the lift and flashbacks, where their lives on the day leading up to the incident is shown. Plot The film revolves around a murder that happens in the lift of a city apartment in Kochi. Four unrelated individuals are stuck in the lift. Aneesh Upasana
Aneesh Upasana (born 6 December 1979) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and photographer. His feature films include '' Matinee'' (2012) and ''Seconds'' (2014). Career Aneesh Upasana started his professional career as a fashion photographer for film magazines. He was recognised by the ''Limca Book of Records'' for recording the video album ''Mayamadhavam'' on a still digital camera. He made his directorial debut with '' Matinee'' which released on 13 December 2012. The film, which featured Maqbool Salmaan making his feature film debut and Mythili in the lead roles, received generally positive reviews. Dalton L, reviewing for ''Deccan Chronicle'', concluded his review, "Entrusted with a highly responsible job, debutant director Aneesh Upasana attempts to woo a wide audience, and ends up creating a drama with a split personality.". Kalabhavan Haneef (1959 or 1960 – 9 November 2023) was an Indian actor and Impressionist (entertainment), impressionist in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut with the film ''Cheppukilukkana Changathi'' (1991). Career Haneef started impersonations while in school, and later began his career as a sales person and impressionist. He was closely affiliated with Kalabhavan, Cochin Kalabhavan, which was the starting point for many actors. Palani
Palani or Pazhani () is a town in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu state in India. It is located about west of Dindigul, south-east of Coimbatore, north-west of Madurai, from Kodaikanal. The Palani Murugan Temple or Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple (Thiru Avinankudi), dedicated to Murugan is situated on a hill overlooking the town. Iyers () (also spelt as Ayyar, Aiyar, Ayer, or Aiyer) are an ethnoreligious community of Tamil-speaking Brahmins.
