Geraldine Brophy
Geraldine Brophy (born 1961) is a New Zealand television, film and stage actress, theatre director and playwright. Biography Brophy was born in Birmingham, England to Irish parents. She and her family emigrated to New Zealand in 1972, when she was 12 years old. She attended Sacred Heart College in Lower Hutt. She left school when she was 16 years old, and received her first professional acting role in 1983, at the Centrepoint Theatre in Palmerston North. The following year she joined the Fortune Theatre company in Dunedin, and for ten years she was a core member of the Court Theatre company in Christchurch. She has also appeared for Downstage Theatre and Circa Theatre in Wellington and Auckland Theatre Company. In 2002, Brophy played the title role in the New Zealand Actors' Company production of Shakespeare's ''King Lear'', Leah. Holly Shanahan (born 23 November 1981) is an actress from New Zealand. She is best known for playing Camille in ''Power Rangers Jungle Fury''. Early life and career Shanahan grew up in the Taranaki village of Lepperton and attended New Plymouth Girls' High School. She participated in the Sheilah Winn Festival of Shakespeare in Schools, and the New Zealand Schools Shakespeare Production, and from that she was selected to go to the Globe in London as part of the Young Shakespeare Company in 2000. Kapiti Coast
The Kapiti Coast District is a local government district of the Wellington Region in the lower North Island of New Zealand, 50 km north of Wellington City. The district is named after Kapiti Island, a prominent island offshore. The population of the district is concentrated in the chain of coastal settlements along State Highway One: Ōtaki, Te Horo, Waikanae, Paraparaumu, Raumati Beach, Raumati South, and Paekākāriki. Paraparaumu is the most populous of these towns and the commercial and administrative centre. Much of the rural land is given over to horticulture; market gardens are common along the highway between the settlements. The area available for agriculture and settlement is narrow and coastal. Ryan O'Kane is a New Zealand actor. His roles include Rhys Levitt in the Australian police drama ''City Homicide'', Prince Frederik in the telemovie '' Mary: The Making of a Princess'', and Riley Hawkins in ''Home and Away''. John Rowles
Sir John Edward Rowles (born 26 March 1947) is a New Zealand singer. He was most popular in the late 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s, and he is best known in New Zealand for his song from 1970, "Cheryl Moana Marie", which he wrote about his younger sister. Early years Rowles was born in Whakatane, New Zealand, and is part Māori. His father, Eddie Hohapata Rowles, played for the 1938 Māori All Blacks. His mother was European. He was brought up in Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty of New Zealand, and spent much of his early childhood in Te Atatū South in West Auckland.
