Sebastià Alzamora I Martín
Sebastià Alzamora i Martín (born March 6, 1972, in Llucmajor, Majorca) is a writer, literary critic and cultural manager from Majorca. He is a self-proclaimed member of the poetic group called Imparables ("Unstoppables"). Biography Sebastià has a degree in Catalan language, Catalan philology from Universitat de les Illes Balears, and became known with collection of poems ''Rafel'' (1994; Premi Salvador Espriu). He has also published ''Apoteosi del cercle'' (1997), ''Mula morta'' (2001) and ''El benestar'' (2003). As a writer, he has published ''L'extinció'' (1999), ''Sara i Jeremies'' (2002), ''La pell i la princesa'' (2005), ''Nit de l'ànima'' (2007), ''Miracle a Llucmajor'' (2010) and ''Dos amics de vint anys'' (2013). Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel
Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel (; 3 August 1913 in Palma, Majorca – 5 January 1938 in El Brull, Barcelona) was a Spanish Balearic poet, who wrote in Catalan. He was born to a modest family and completed his secondary school education as a student of Gabriel Alomar i Villalong in l'Institut de Palma. He completed his bachelor's degree in arts and philosophy in Barcelona where he met his lifelong friend and renowned Catalan poet, Salvador Espriu. Rosselló-Pòrcel dedicated 'Imitació del Foc' to Espriu. He completed his PhD degree in Madrid. In 1933, he embarked on a university Mediterranean cruise with Espriu and two of his other colleagues, touring Egypt, Lebanon, Greece, Rhodes, and Palestine. When in Palestine, he and Espriu heard what may have been the last records of Qatalanit, a Jewish diasporic language also known as Judeo-Catalan. The Catalan Media Corporation (; ) is the public radio and television company in Catalonia owned by Generalitat de Catalunya. The CCRTV is a public corporation created by the Generalitat de Catalunya by a Founding Act that passed the Parliament of Catalonia on 18 May 1983.
