Sebastian Amigorena
Sebastian Amigorena is an Argentine Immunology, immunologist and a Team Leader at the Institut Curie. Education and career Sebastian Amigorena was born in 1960 in Buenos Aires. He studied biochemistry at Paris Diderot University, earning his Ph.D. in 1990 under the supervision of Wolf H. Fridman, with a thesis titled "FcR expression in B lymphocytes". He then went on to a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Ira Mellman at Yale Medical School. In 1995, he joined the faculty of the Institut Curie as a team leader, and is now director of the laboratory of Immunity and Cancer. He was elected to the French Academy of Sciences in 2005. Research Amigorena's research focuses on antigen presentation by dendritic cells. In particular, Amigorena's research group has studied the processes by which dendritic cells take up, process, and display antigens to T cells, as well as how this process is regulated by regulatory T cells. Wolf H
The wolf (''Canis lupus''; : wolves), also known as the grey wolf or gray wolf, is a canine native to Eurasia and North America. More than thirty subspecies of ''Canis lupus'' have been recognized, including the dog and dingo, though grey wolves, as popularly understood, only comprise naturally-occurring wild subspecies. The wolf is the largest wild extant member of the family Canidae, and is further distinguished from other ''Canis'' species by its less pointed ears and muzzle, as well as a shorter torso and a longer tail.
