History The magazine was founded in 1988 as U.S. National Video Game Team's ''Electronic Gaming Monthly'' under Sendai Publications. In 1994, ''EGM'' spun off '' EGM²'', which focused on expanded cheats and tricks (i.e., with maps and guides). It eventually became '' Expert Gamer'' and finally the defunct '' GameNOW''. Jason Keith Pargin (; born January 10, 1975) is an American humor writer, novelist and Internet personality who formerly wrote under the name David Wong. Daniel O'Brien (born January 6, 1986), also known as "DOB", is an American humorist, author, writer, actor, comedian and songwriter; formerly for Cracked.com. In August 2018, O'Brien started as a staff writer on the HBO show ''Last Week Tonight with John Oliver'', and is currently a senior writer. In 2019 through 2024 he was part of the writing team that won six Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing on a Variety Series. ''The Adventures of Chico and Guapo'' is an American adult animated television series that originally aired on MTV2. Set in New York City, the show is about two interns trying to get ahead in the music business. Chico and Guapo work at Mr. Angelo's recording studio. G4 (also known as G4TV) was an American pay television and digital network owned by NBCUniversal and later Comcast Spectacor that primarily focused on video games. The network was originally owned by G4 Media, a joint venture between the NBCUniversal Cable division of NBCUniversal and Dish Network by the time of the channel's initial closure, and first launched on April 24, 2002. In late 2012, G4's final studio programming were canceled in preparation for a planned relaunch as Esquire Network, as part of a licensing deal with Hearst Corporation, owner of ''Esquire'' magazine. Moscow ( ) is a city and the county seat of Latah County, Idaho. KUOI
KUOI-FM (89.3 FM) is a freeform, college radio station in the western United States at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. It broadcasts in Moscow, the neighboring city Pullman, Washington, and in other townships on the Palouse. KUOI is headquartered on the third floor of the Bruce Pitman Center (the former Student Union Building) at Sixth and Deakin streets, on the northeast edge of campus. The station began operating in 1945, and began FM programming 23 years later in 1968, officially starting on Sunday, November 17. Starting on the AM dial in 1945 at 655 kHz with a two-watt transmitter, it moved to 660 in 1947 at five watts; with the move to FM, it went to ten watts in 1968 at 89.3 MHz.
