Seamus Robinson (fencer)
Seamus Robinson (born 1 April 1975 in Melbourne, Australia) was the first Australian fencer to win a Fencing World Championship title in the men's épée cadets (under 17) title in 1991, Foggia, Italy. He also placed second on the junior men's épée world cup in 1995. Fencing At The 2004 Summer Olympics
Fencing at the 2004 Summer Olympics took place at the Fencing Hall at the Hellinikon Olympic Complex. Ten gold medals were awarded in individual and team events, further divided into three styles of fencing: épée, foil and sabre. Fencing is one of the few sports that have been featured in every modern Olympic Games, and for the first time female competitors competed individually using the sabre. The Lexan window mask, showing the athletes' faces, was used for the first time at these Olympics. Pavel Anatolyevich Kolobkov (russian: link=no, Павел Анатольевич Колобков, born 22 September 1969) is a retired Russian (and formerly Soviet) épée fencer. He won one gold, two silver and three bronze medals at five Olympic Games from 1988 to 2004. He served as the Minister of Sport in the Russian government from 2016 to 2020. He also previously served as the Deputy Minister of Sport as well as Deputy Minister of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy. Biography Kolobkov was born on 22 September 1969 in Moscow.
