Mike Seamon (August 30, 1988 in Rahway, New Jersey) is an American soccer player. Career College Seamon was born in New Jersey and attended Union Catholic Regional High School. He played four years of college soccer at Villanova University. His freshman year, he led his team with 5 assists. In his second season with the Wildcats, he was named the Philadelphia Soccer Seven Player of the Year and was also awarded second team All-Big East. During his Junior year of college, he was voted third team ALL-BIG EAST and scored 4 goals and made 4 assists. Professional Seamon was drafted in the second round (27th overall) of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft by Seattle Sounders FC. On June 2, 2010, it was announced that he had been signed by Seattle Sounders FC. Michael Seamon (January 15, 1960 – 2017) was an American professional bridge player from Miami Beach, Florida. Born to bridge players Rita and William Seamon, Michael was the youngest of three children. His sister, Janice Seamon-Molson, is also a nationally ranked bridge player. On September 3, 1992, his son Kevin William Seamon was born. Seamon died suddenly in 2017 of natural causes. John Seamon
John Seamon (born February 8, 1943) is an American psychologist who is Professor of Psychology Emeritus and Professor of Neuroscience and Behavior Emeritus at Wesleyan University. His research focuses on memory. Seamon read for a BS at Columbia University (1966) and a doctorate at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (1971). After postdoctoral work at New York University, he joined Wesleyan in 1972. He was awarded Emeritus status in 2013. His books include 1980's ''Memory & Cognition: An Introduction'' (Oxford University Press); the 1980 reader ''Human Memory: Contemporary Readings'' (Oxford University Press); 1992's ''Introduction to Psychology'', co-written with D. Edith Freilich née Seamon (September 8, 1911 - May 14, 2011) was an American bridge player, "one of the world's greatest female bridge players". As a player in important tournaments, she was also known as Edith Seligman, Edith Kemp, and Edith Kemp Freilich. Among women, she is second to Helen Sobel Smith for winning the greatest number of North American Bridge Championships. She was from Miami Beach, Florida. Edith Seamon was raised in South Orange, New Jersey. Her brother, Billy Seamon, and sister, Anne Burnstein, also became leading bridge players. Freilich won the top two KO events on the ACBL calendar, the Vanderbilt and Spingold, in 1963. In 1984, her team won the Wagar. Freilich was inducted into the ACBL Hall of Fame in 1997.
