Sea Teziutlán
The Sea Teziutlán was a primary training aircraft designed by the engineer Antonio Sea and built by Talleres Generales de Aeronáutica Militar. Design and development In 1940 General Roberto Fierro Villalobos was re-appointed as commander of the Mexican Air Force and director of the Talleres Generales de Reparaciones Aeronáuticas (TGAM, General Workshops of Military Aeronautics), which were formerly called "TNCA, Talleres Nacionales de Construcciones Aeronáuticas (TNCA)", taking the initiative to finance an aircraft project designed by the engineer Antonio Sea, which would be built in the workshops of Teziutlán (municipality), Teziutlán, Puebla (hence its name). It was a design of two open cabins in tandem configuration, with fuselage built in metal and wings made of wood with fixed landing gear. Trainer Aircraft
A trainer is a class of aircraft designed specifically to facilitate flight training of pilots and aircrews. The use of a dedicated trainer aircraft with additional safety features—such as tandem flight controls, forgiving flight characteristics and a simplified cockpit arrangement—allows pilots-in-training to safely advance their skills in a more forgiving aircraft. TNCA
The Talleres Nacionales de Construcciones Aeronáuticas (TNCA) (national aviation workshops) was an aircraft manufacturer established outside Mexico City in 1915. TNCA closed in 1930, was briefly revived in 1941 under the name ''Talleres Generales de Aeronáutica'' (TGA) and again in 1947. The main designers were Brigadier General and engineer Juan Francisco Azcárate, and Italian engineer Francisco Santarini, who manufactured a variety of domestically-designed military aircraft, propellers and engines. Fairchild PT-19
The Fairchild PT-19 (company designation Fairchild M62) is an American monoplane primary trainer aircraft that served with the United States Army Air Forces, Royal Air Force, RAF and Royal Canadian Air Force, RCAF during World War II. Designed by Fairchild Aircraft, it was a contemporary of the Boeing-Stearman Kaydet, Kaydet biplane trainer, and was used by the USAAF during Primary Flying Training.
