''Sdelka!?'' (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Сделка!?, Russian language, Russian for "deal") is the Russian version of ''Deal or No Deal''. It was broadcast on REN TV from April 17 to September 22, 2006, and hosted by Alexei Veselkin. The prizes available ranged from 3,000,000 Russian rubles (about United States dollar, US$98,000, Euro, €69,000 or Pound sterling, £61,000) to 1 kopek (smallest Russian unit of currency, less than 1 US cent, euro cent or penny). The music used was taken from various other Deal or No Deal versions, like ''Miljoenenjacht (Netherlands), Miljoenenjacht'' (Theme), UK ''Deal or No Deal'' and Australian ''Deal or No Deal'' (various incidentals). There are 22 cases held on a podium with 22 players that return each show like on Deal or No Deal UK, but they have briefcases rather than boxes. Deal Or No Deal
''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch ''Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game" ) which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money. After the player for the case game is determined, this contender claims (or is assigned) one case or a box at the start of the game, without its contents being revealed. The contestant then chooses the other cases or boxes, one at a time, to be immediately opened and removed from play. Throughout the game, the player is offered an amount of money or prizes to quit, being asked the titular question, "Deal or no deal?" Alexei Veselkin
Aleksei Alekseyevich Veselkin (russian: Алексей Алексеевич Весёлкин; 21 November 1961 in Moscow) is a Russian actor and TV game show presenter and Honoured Artist of Russia. He was a visible personality on television and in society magazines during the 1980s and 1990s, making a popular comeback in 2006 as the host of ''Sdelka?'' (Сделка "Deal?"), the Russian version of the American gameshow Deal or No Deal. During 2012 he was also a radio host on Radio Mayak show of Sergei Stillavin, but he and co-presenter Victoria Kolosova were dismissed after government watchdog Roskomnadzor upheld complaints against a controversial article by the presenters on cystic fibrosis. Veselkin returned to his previous position as a staff actor at the Russian Academic Youth Theater. ''Deal or No Deal'' is a British game show, hosted by Noel Edmonds, which aired from 31 October 2005 to 23 December 2016 on Channel 4. Based on the original Netherlands format of the game show, each episode sees a contestant choosing one of 22 boxes, each containing a cash amount between 1p to £250,000, and then attempting to win as much as possible either by gambling on having a high amount in their chosen box, or making the game's hidden operator, named "the Banker", offer a considerable cash sum for their box regardless of what is inside.
