Carl Scully
Patrick Carl Scully (born 4 April 1957), is a former Australian politician and minister in the New South Wales Government before his forced resignation on 25 October 2006 for deceit from misleading parliament. Background and early career Scully was born in Sydney and educated at state schools. He graduated in law from Macquarie University, Sydney, and was active in the Labor Party since 1976. He practised as a solicitor between 1983 and 1990. Political career Scully was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly as member for the safe Labor seat of Smithfield at the 1990 by-election. He is a member of the dominant right-wing faction of the New South Wales Labor Party. Sr. Robert Scully (born 20 November 1960) is a Malaysian former football player and coach. He formerly played for Penang FA in Malaysia Cup competition during the 1980s. Robert has worked at Malaysian National Sports Council (Majlis Sukan Negara) before accepting the job as head coach for Penang FA in early 2011. He was sacked from his post in April 2011 due to poor performance from Penang FA which has seen the team occupying the last place in the Malaysian Premier League for that season. Vincent Edward Scully (November 29, 1927 – August 2, 2022) was an American sportscaster. He was best known for his 67 seasons calling games for Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers, beginning in 1950 (when the franchise was located in Brooklyn) and ending in 2016. Scully's tenure with the Dodgers was the longest of any broadcaster with a single team in professional sports history, and he was second only to Tommy Lasorda (by two years) in terms of number of years associated with the Dodgers organization in any capacity.
