BMS Scuderia Italia SpA (sometimes referred to as simply Scuderia Italia) is an auto racing team founded in 1983 in Brescia by Italian businessman and motorsports enthusiast Giuseppe Lucchini. Originally named Brixia Motor Sport (BMS), the team initially competed in the World Touring Car Championship. The team's name was altered to BMS Scuderia Italia upon their entrance into Formula One in . The Ferrari F430 (Type F131) is a sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari from 2004 until 2009 as a successor to the Ferrari 360. The car is an update to the 360 with exterior and performance changes. It was unveiled at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. The F430 was succeeded by the 458 which was unveiled on 28 July 2009. Scuderia Vittoria is a British motor racing team. The team was formed in late 2010 and is the brainchild of ex-British Touring Car Championship, BTCC racers Tom Ferrier and Danny Buxton along with multiple GT and single-seater championship team manager, Piers Masarati. The Middlesex based team ran a Ferrari 458 GT3 and a Ginetta G50 GT4 car in the 2011 British GT season. Scuderia Toro Rosso SpA (; ), commonly known as Toro Rosso or by its abbreviation STR, was an Italian Formula One constructor. Scuderia Serenissima
Scuderia Serenissima or Scuderia SSS Republica di Venezia was an auto racing team funded by Giovanni Volpi and active in the early 1960s. The name "Serenissima" ("Most Serene") refers to one of the many definitions the city of Venice is known for, the Volpi family being originally from the area. Based in Sasso Marconi, close to Bologna, Serenissima mostly competed in Formula One and sports car racing. Originally the team had an engine supply agreement with Ferrari. When Volpi decided to financially support ATS, a Formula One team put together by Carlo Chiti, Giotto Bizzarrini, Romolo Tavoni and other breakaway Ferrari employees, Enzo Ferrari withdrew from the agreement. Scuderia Playteam (also known as Scuderia Playteam Sarafree) was an Italian racing team owned by Giambattista Giannoccaro. History The team competed in several series. Scuderia Finotto
Scuderia Finotto was a Swiss-Italian motor racing team founded by former Formula three driver Jürg Dubler. It raced in Formula One during the 1974 season, using customer Brabham cars. Formula One Following the withdrawal of the Silvio Moser Racing Team from Formula One, Italian touring car driver Martino Finotto bought two Brabham BT42s from Silvio Moser. Initially interested in the idea of racing the cars himself, Finotto eventually decided to lease them to Jürg Dubler with the idea of creating a Formula One team. With the financial backing of Jürg Bretscher and Antonino Nicodemi, Dubler entered both cars for the 1974 Spanish Grand Prix, one for Moser and the other for the Swede Reine Wisell. Tragically, one week before the race, Moser was seriously injured while driving a Lola T294-BMW at the 6 Hours of Monza sports car race and died one month later.
