Screamtime
''Screamtime'' is a 1983 British-American horror anthology film directed by Michael Armstrong and Stanley A. Long (dually credited as Al Beresford), and written by Armstrong. The film opens with a pair of young men stealing three videotapes, which happen to each contain a tale of terror. The first story is about an evil puppeteer, the second is a haunted house story, and the third is about a caretaker in a haunted garden. The films second segment, "Dreamhouse", was remade and expanded to a feature-length film in 2010 as ''Psychosis'', starring Charisma Carpenter. Plot Two young men enter a video store and steal three videotapes, which they take to a friend's house to watch. Veronica Doran
Veronica Doran (born 17 May 1948) is a British character actress who remains best known for her 18-month stint as Marion Willis in the ITV soap opera, ''Coronation Street''. She appeared in the series from 1982 to 1983. Early life Veronica Doran was born on 17 May 1948 in Carlisle, Cumberland, but was brought up in Blackpool, Lancashire. Lally Bowers
Kathleen "Lally" Bowers (21 January 1914 – 18 July 1984) was an English actress. Bowers was born in Oldham, Lancashire, where she was educated at Hulme Grammar School. She worked as a secretary before walking-on and understudying at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. Michael Armstrong (filmmaker)
Michael Armstrong (born 24 July 1944 in Bolton, Lancashire) is an English writer and director. Armstrong trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and was writing and directing films at the age of 22 with the award-winning short, '' The Image'' starring David Bowie and Michael Byrne. The following year, he wrote and directed his first feature film, ''The Haunted House of Horror'', starring Frankie Avalon, Jill Haworth, Mark Wynter, Richard O'Sullivan and Dennis Price, following it with the notorious '' Mark of the Devil'', starring Herbert Lom and Udo Kier which exceeded box office expectations in Europe and America on its first release in 1970 and has grown to be considered a cult film. David Van Day
David Van Day (born David Paul Day, 28 November 1956) is an English singer, songwriter and politician who was formerly a member of the pop vocal duo Dollar. He was also a member of the 1970s vocal group Guys 'n' Dolls (along with his Dollar partner Thereza Bazar), and two latter-day line-ups of Bucks Fizz in the 1990s and 2000s. Manson International was an independent American film production company and distributor. The name was derived from the founders' surnames. Initially a distributor of foreign films, it became one of the pioneer film sales agencies in the country.
