Eesti Gaidide Liit (EGL, ''Estonian Guides Association'') is the national Girl Guides, Guiding organization of Estonia. Young Eagles of Estonia () is a patriotic youth paramilitary organization in Estonia, established in 1930. It is not a defence organisation. Organisation and Membership Although sponsored by the Estonian Defence League and having many members wearing military camouflage uniforms, the Young Eagles is not a defence organisation (or a part of the Estonian military). However many of the organization's adult leaders have a military background and members do participate with the volunteer or regular forces on some occasions. Home Daughters () is a patriotic youth paramilitary organization in Estonia, established in 1932 at Estonian Defence League. It is not a defence organisation. The Estonian Defence League (, 'Defence League') is a voluntary paramilitary national defence organization of the Republic of Estonia, under management of the Ministry of Defence. The Scout method is the informal educational system used in the Scout Movement with some variations among different Scout organizations. Scout training is character development to help Scouts become independent and helpful, and thereby become "healthy, happy, helpful citizens". The Scout method uses appealing activities in the outdoors with a simplified social structure to generate challenges from which Scouts learn. Through the training, Scouts are taught independence, leadership, the ambition to learn by themselves and a moral code with positive goals.
