This article lists the winners of the Manager, Player and Young Player monthly awards in the Scottish Premier League (SPL) from the 2000–01 season until the league ceased operating at the end of the 2012–13 season. The Young Player of the Month began being awarded in the 2001–02 season. The Rising Star awards were issued most months in the 2007–08 season. O'Neill, Martin
Martin Hugh Michael O'Neill, (born 1 March 1952) is a Northern Irish professional Manager (association football), football manager and former Association football, player who played as a midfielder. After a brief early career in the Irish League, O'Neill moved to England where he spent most of his playing career with Nottingham Forest F.C., Nottingham Forest. He won the First Division title in 1977–78 and the European Cup twice, in 1979 and 1980. He was cap (sport), capped 64 times for the Northern Ireland national football team, also Captain (association football), captaining the side at the 1982 World Cup. Ebbe Skovdahl
Ebbe Skovdahl Hansen (5 July 1945 – 23 October 2020) was a Danish football manager. He most prominently was a successful manager at Brøndby, for whom he had also played in his active years. He helped turn the side into the most dominant Danish team in the 1990s, and he also managed the club in several European campaigns with regular successful UEFA Cup runs, and a UEFA Champions League qualification. He won numerous Danish Superliga and Danish Cup titles. Career Skovdahl started playing as a child for Vanløse. Claudio Caniggia
Claudio Paul Caniggia (; born 9 January 1967) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as forward or winger. Caniggia played 50 times for the Argentina national team. He appeared in three World Cups, and was a member of both rival clubs River Plate and Boca Juniors. At the 1990 FIFA World Cup, Caniggia scored two goals to help Argentina reach the final but was suspended for the final against West Germany. Caniggia also scored two goals at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in a first-round match against Nigeria. As well as appearing for River Plate and Boca Juniors, his other clubs include Atalanta, Benfica, Dundee and Rangers.
