Scott Wood
Scott Douglas Wood II (born June 21, 1990) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for North Carolina State University. College career Wood came to NC State from Marion High School in Marion, Indiana. Wood was a four-year starter for the Wolfpack, and was one of the top shooters in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for his career. As both a junior and senior, Wood led the conference in both free-throw and three-point shooting. Wood set the ACC record for consecutive made free throws in 2011-12 with 66, eclipsing the previous mark set by Duke's JJ Redick. Wood also holds the NC State school record for made three pointers with 334, passing Wolfpack legend Rodney Monroe. Wood finished his college career ranking 15th in school history in scoring with 1,468 points. Marion is a city in Grant County, Indiana, United States. The population was 29,948 as of the 2010 United States Census. The city is the county seat of Grant County. Rodney Eugene Monroe (born April 16, 1968) is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and other leagues. He was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the second round (30th pick overall) of the 1991 NBA draft. A 6'3" (1.90 m) shooting guard, Monroe played only one year in the NBA with the Hawks during the 1991–92 season, appearing in 38 games and scoring a total of 131 points. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The 2014 NBA Summer League consists of two pro basketball leagues organized by the NBA and the Orlando Magic just after the 2014 NBA Draft. Ten teams took part in the week-long summer league at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, from July 5 to 11, 2014. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs.
