Scott Simpson (born 21 July 1979) is a Wales, Welsh pole vaulter. Born in Bath, Somerset, Bath, England, he finished sixth at the Athletics at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2006 Commonwealth Games. His personal best jump is 5.41 metres, achieved in 2006. He has 5.42 metres on the indoor track, achieved in March 2007 in Sheffield. He is the head coach of Welsh Athletics and also the coach of British pole vaulter Holly Bradshaw. References

Scott William Simpson (born September 17, 1955) is an American professional golfer. Amateur career Simpson was born in San Diego, California, and played college golf at the University of Southern California, where he was two-time medalist at the NCAA Championship in 1976 and 1977. At the end of 1976 ''Golf Digest'' ranked Simpson the #1 amateur in the country. Professional career He turned professional in 1977 and graduated in 1978. He played on the PGA Tour from 1979, and won seven PGA Tour events between 1980 and 1998. The highlight of Simpson's career was the U.S. Open in 1987 at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, his only major title. He birdied the 14th, 15th, and 16th holes of the final round to overtake Tom Watson by one stroke and finished with a three under par total of 277. Scott Anthony Simpson (born 4 November 1959) is a New Zealand politician and a member of the New Zealand House of Representatives. He is a member of the National Party. Simpson is Minister for ACC and Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs in the Sixth National Government, and was previously the Chief Government Whip. He was formerly Minister of Statistics in the Fifth National Government from May to October 2017. Early life and career Simpson's ancestors settled in Kūaotunu, on the Coromandel Peninsula, in the 1800s. He grew up in Auckland and was educated at the University of Auckland, graduating with a law degree.
