Scott Reeder (bassist)
Scott Thomas Reeder (born May 16, 1965) is an American musician best known as the former bass player of stoner rock bands Across the River, Kyuss and The Obsessed, as well as the current bass player for Fireball Ministry. History Scott Thomas Reeder was born in Pomona, California. In 1990 when Scott "Wino" Weinrich reformed The Obsessed, Reeder joined on bass and recorded two albums with the band including the landmark 1991 album '' Lunar Womb''. Reeder left The Obsessed in 1992, and joined stoner rock band Kyuss who were without a bassist after the departure of Nick Oliveri. Reeder remained with Kyuss until they disbanded in 1995. After the breakup of Kyuss, Reeder auditioned for Tool but lost out to Justin Chancellor. He also formed a short-lived supergroup with Jason Newsted, Devin Townsend, and Dale Crover, though none of the group's recordings have ever been released. "Into the Void" is a song by British heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in 1971 on their album ''Master of Reality''. An early version of "Into the Void" called "Spanish Sid" was released on the deluxe edition of ''Master of Reality''. It is written in the key of C♯ minor. ''Welcome to Sky Valley'' (also known as ''Sky Valley'' and ''Kyuss'') is the third studio album by American stoner rock band Kyuss, released on June 28, 1994, through Elektra and Chameleon Records. The album was the band's first to include Scott Reeder on bass, who replaced Nick Oliveri, and the last of theirs to include drummer Brant Bjork, who left the band shortly after recording concluded. This is the first Kyuss album to feature bassist Scott Reeder, who replaced Nick Oliveri in 1992. ''Welcome to Sky Valley'' was the last to feature founding member Brant Bjork. The song "N.O." was originally recorded by Across the River, a band fronted by Mario Lalli and featuring bassist Reeder. After Reeder left the Obsessed and joined Kyuss, Bjork suggested they record "N.O." as a tribute to Across the River. ''Appalachian Incantation'' is the fourth studio album by the stoner rock band Karma to Burn. The album was the band's first studio release after a seven-year hiatus that lasted from 2002–2009. Yawning Sons is a British–American collaborative musical project formed in 2008 by members of the psychedelic rock bands Yawning Man and Sons of Alpha Centauri. Often associated with the Palm Desert Scene, the project's nature has been compared to The Desert Sessions project founded by Josh Homme. Roberto Agustín Miguel Santiago Samuel Trujillo Veracruz (; born October 23, 1964) is an American musician who has been the bassist for heavy metal band Metallica since 2003. He first rose to prominence as the bassist of crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies from 1989 to 1995, while also collaborating with Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir for funk metal supergroup Infectious Grooves.
