Scott Cameron McMann (born 9 July 1996) is a Scottish professional association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for club Ayr United F.C., Ayr United. Club career Raised in Torrance, East Dunbartonshire, McMann turned professional with Hamilton Academical F.C., Hamilton Academical in July 2012. He made his senior debut on 16 April 2013. In February 2016, McMann moved on loan to Scottish League Two side Clyde F.C., Clyde for the remainder of the 2015–16 in Scottish football, 2015–16 season. In October 2019, he signed a new contract with Hamilton until 2022. He signed for Dundee United F.C., Dundee United on 31 August 2021. On 16 June 2024, McMann signed for Ayr United F.C., Ayr United upon his release from Dundee United. Kirkintilloch (; ; ) is a town and a Burgh of Barony (The Baron of Kirkintilloch) in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. It lies on the Forth and Clyde Canal and on the south side of Strathkelvin, about northeast of central Glasgow. Historically part of Dunbartonshire, the town is the administrative home of East Dunbartonshire council area, its population in 2009 was estimated at 19,700 and its population in 2011 was 19,689. Toponymy "Kirkintilloch" comes from the Gaelic ''Cair Cheann Tulaich'' or ''Cathair Cheann Tulaich'', meaning "fort at the end of the hill". This, in turn, may come from a Cumbric name, ''Caer-pen-taloch'', which has the same meaning. A possible reference to the site is made in the 9th century Welsh text Historia Brittonum, in which the Antonine Wall is said to end at 'Caerpentaloch'. The fort referred to is the former Roman settlement on the wall and the hillock is the volcanic drumlin which would have offered a strategic viewpoint for miles to the West, ...
