Scott John Garner (born 20 September 1989) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. He has previously played for Leicester City, Ilkeston Town, Mansfield Town, Grimsby Town, Alfreton Town, Cambridge United, Lincoln City, FC Halifax Town and Guiseley. Club career Leicester City Born in Coventry, West Midlands, Garner began his career at Leicester City, signing a professional contract at the end of the 2007–08 season. On 21 October 2008, Garner was loaned, initially for one month and later extended, to non-league side Ilkeston Town, managed by David Holdsworth. Eastbourne () is a town and seaside resort in East Sussex, on the south coast of England, east of Brighton and south of London. Eastbourne is immediately east of Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in Great Britain and part of the larger Eastbourne Downland Estate. Guiseley ( ) is a town in metropolitan borough of the City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is situated south of Otley and Menston and is now a north-western suburb of Leeds. It sits in the Guiseley and Rawdon ward of Leeds City Council and the Pudsey parliamentary constituency. At the 2001 census, Guiseley with Rawdon had a population of over 21,000, increasing to 22,347 at the 2011 Census. The A65, which passes through the town, is the main shopping street. Robert Scott (born 15 August 1973) is an English former professional footballer and manager who currently works as Head of Recruitment for Rotherham United as well as working for the Football Association within their Talent ID Education Department. As a player, he was a defender from 1992 to 2008, notably in the Football League for Sheffield United, Scarborough, Northampton Town, Fulham, Carlisle United, Rotherham United, Oldham Athletic and Macclesfield Town. He also played in Non-league football for Sutton United and Halifax Town. After retiring from the playing side of the sport in 2008 he became joint manager of Ilkeston Town along with former teammate Paul Hurst. Paul Hurst
Paul Michael Hurst (born 25 September 1974) is an English football manager and former player who is the manager of club Grimsby Town. As a player, he was a defender from 1993 to 2008, notably playing his entire career at Rotherham United, bar a brief loan spell with Burton Albion in his final year as a player. After retiring from the playing side of the sport in 2008, he became joint manager with former teammate Rob Scott at Ilkeston Town, then Boston United, before joining Grimsby Town in 2011. In the 2015–16 National League, he led Grimsby to promotion via the play-offs. Hurst moved on to become manager of Shrewsbury Town in October 2016, and saved the club from relegation from League One in his first season, while taking them to the EFL Trophy and League One play-off finals in 2018. Gary Leonard Mills (born 20 May 1981) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently caretaker manager of Burton Albion. He was assistant manager at Wrexham until 31 March 2015. He was appointed the new manager at Rugby Town in May 2015 but left after a poor start to the season.
