Scott Foster Harris
Scott Foster Harris is an American blues/rock singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based out of Los Angeles, California and Vienna, Austria. Harris began as a solo artist before forming the psychedelic/blues/rock group Zen Rizing. After Zen ended in 2011 he joined L.A. Guns, respectively with Tracii Guns of Guns N' Roses, as the new frontman. Since 2014 he has been concentrating on his solo musical aspirations and is continuing to build his career based around his enthusiasm for his soulful, poetic brand of futuristic blues/funk/groove/rock. Shrapnel Records is an American record label founded in 1980 by record producer Mike Varney. History Guitarist Marty Friedman (formerly of Megadeth and Cacophony), one of the label's most successful artists, first appeared on the album ''Unsung Guitar Heroes II'' in 1980 with the band Vixen. Vixen would later change their name to Hawaii and release the album '' One Nation Underground'' for Shrapnel. In 1981, a friend gave Mike Varney a tape featuring a 17-year-old Swedish guitarist named Yngwie Malmsteen. A year later, Malmsteen wrote to the label stating that he wanted to export his music to America. The Roxy Theatre (often just the Roxy) is a nightclub on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, owned by Lou Adler and his son, Nic. History The Roxy was opened on September 23, 1973, by Elmer Valentine and Lou Adler, along with original partners David Geffen, Elliot Roberts and Peter Asher. The Doors
The Doors were an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. They were among the most controversial and influential rock acts of the 1960s, partly due to Morrison's lyrics and voice, along with his erratic stage persona.
