Scott Dooley
Scott "Dools" Dooley (born 29 March 1980) is an Australian comedian and radio announcer best known for his tenure with state-owned national youth network, Triple J and Nova 96.9. Career Dooley began his career at Triple J as a work experience kid. Following an on-air revelation that he had a third nipple he then went on to be a guest on the Breakfast show with Adam and Wil where he starred in the Friday segment, "Are You Smarter Than Dools?". He has hosted the mid-dawn program - a common shift for new announcers - and the "Summer Nights" weeknight program which airs during the summer non-ratings period. On 7 January 2008, he joined Linda Marigliano to present the afternoon drive program from 3-5:30pm weekdays. Linda left the station on 5 December 2008 leaving Dooley as the sole presenter for the drive program, until his eventual departure on 4 December 2009. Jason Chatfield
Jason Chatfield (born 1984) is an Australian cartoonist and stand-up comedian, based in New York City. At 23 he became Australia's most widely syndicated cartoonist, appearing daily in over 120 newspapers in 34 countries. His art spans the disciplines of comic strip, gag cartoon, editorial cartoon, book illustration, caricature and commercial art. His work has appeared in ''The New Yorker'', ''Variety'', ''Airmail'', ''WIRED'', ''The Weekly Humorist'', and '' Mad'' magazine. At 26 he was elected president of the Australian Cartoonists' Association, and later served as the 36th President of the National Cartoonists Society. Robert Hunter Cup
Robert Alan Hunter (1 October 1975 – 20 October 2011), better known as Hunter or Huntz, was an Australian rapper and hip-hop artist. He was a founder of Perth's hip hop scene in the 1990s and a member of the MC collective Syllabolix (SBX) Crew. During his career, he released four albums: ''Done DL'' (2002), ''Going Back to Yokine'' (2006), ''Monster House'' (2010) and ''Fear and Loathing'' (2011). Hunter died of neuroendocrine cancer in 2011 at the age of 36. He was post-humously inducted into the Western Australian Music Industry Awards Hall of Fame and was the subject of a documentary titled ''Hunter: For the Record'' ( see below) which recorded the final years of his life. The Chaser
The Chaser are an Australian satirical comedy group, best known for their television programmes and satirical news masthead. The group take their name from their satirical newspaper, a publication known to challenge conventions of taste. The group's motto is "Striving for Mediocrity in a World of Excellence". Founding The Chaser's earliest foundation was a satirical school paper called ''The Tiger'', created by future members Charles Firth, Dominic Knight and Chas Licciardello as a way to "wring as much money as heycould out of their expensive private school" while attending Sydney Grammar. Raw Comedy
Raw Comedy, stylised as RAW Comedy, is an Australian annual competition for emerging stand-up comedians held by Melbourne International Comedy Festival. History and description The Raw Comedy competition was established at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 1996. In 2011, there were 1,100 contestants. The competition is supported by national youth radio station Triple J. the competition attracts around 1,000 entrants annually from all over Australia, and is the largest open-mic comedy competition in the country. Ricki-Lee Dawn Coulter (born 10 November 1985) is an Australian singer-songwriter, television and radio presenter. She was born in Auckland, New Zealand, raised in Gold Coast, Queensland, and began performing at age 15.
