Scott Davies (born 5 August 1995) is a Welsh former racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2013 and 2021 for the Team USN, , , and squads. Biography Born in Carmarthen, Davies attended Bro Myrddin Welsh Comprehensive School (). Davies represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, 2014. He was named as a member of the team for the 2016 season. In May 2019, he was named in the startlist for the Giro d'Italia. In October 2020, he was named in the startlist for the Vuelta a España. Tour Of Austria
The Tour of Austria () is a stage race, stage cycling race held in Austria. From 1949 to 1995 it was a race for amateur cyclists, turning into a professional event in 1996. In 2005 and 2006 it was organised as a 2.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour, becoming a 2.HC event in 2007. The race will become part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020. Since 2005 it has usually been held in July. Before that, it was seen as an ideal preparation race for the Tour de France. The Duo Normand is a two-man team time trial (against the clock) for elite racing cyclists. 2015 Herald Sun Tour
The 2015 Jayco Herald Sun Tour was the 62nd edition of the Herald Sun Tour road cycling race, road cycling stage race. The race was rated as 2.1 and was part of the 2015 UCI Oceania Tour. The 2015 race consisted of five stages in Victoria (Australia), Victoria, starting in Melbourne on 4 February and finished at the summit finish on Arthurs Seat, Victoria, Arthurs Seat on 8 February. The race was won by Australian Cameron Meyer of the cycling team. Meyer succeeded his teammate Simon Clarke (cyclist), Simon Clarke, who won the 2014 Herald Sun Tour, 2014 edition of the race and finished fourth in the 2015 race. Meyer had taken over the overall lead following a victory in the first road stage of the race and was able to defend his lead through the remaining stages. Cycle sport, Cycling is one of seven optional sports that were included in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Cycling has appeared consistently since their first appearance at the 1934 British Empire Games in London with track and road events at every Games since and mountain biking being included from 2002. The track cycling events were hosted at the newly built Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow's East End, whilst the mountain bike competitions utilised the purpose-built Cathkin Braes, Cathkin Braes Mountain Bike Trails. 2013 UCI Road World Championships
The 2013 UCI Road World Championships took place in Tuscany, Italy, between 22 and 29 September 2013. The Championships consisted of 12 events for elite, under-23 and junior cyclists. It was the 86th Road World Championships, the 13th in Italy and the first time that the event took place in Tuscany. The different events finished near the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence. Host cities for the starts were Florence, Pistoia, Lucca and Montecatini Terme. Marketing Tickets for crucial points of the course in Florence and Fiesole could be bought in advance. Ticket prices ranged from 20 Euro to 100 Euro for seating near the finish line of the men's road race. An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage"). There are also track-based time trials where riders compete in velodromes, and team time trials (TTT).
