Scott Clark (artist)
Scott Clark (died 2013) was an American comic book artist who worked for Wildstorm, Marvel Comics, Aspen Comics and DC Comics. Career Scott Clark got his start in the early 1990s drawing for small publishers but came to be known through his work for the then Image studio Wildstorm and later Marvel Comics. After working for a short time at Aspen Comics, he returned to the now DC Comics-owned Wildstorm and then DC Comics proper, working on titles like ''Brightest Day''. Most recently he worked on the New 52 Grifter series and covers for Deathstroke and was the artist for the Martian Manhunter back-up in the new Justice League of America The Justice League, or Justice League of America (JLA), is a group of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Wildstorm
Wildstorm Productions (stylized as WildStorm) is an American comic book imprint. Originally founded as an independent company established by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi to publish through Image Comics, Wildstorm became a publishing imprint of DC Comics in 1998. Until it was shut down in 2010, the Wildstorm imprint remained editorially separate from DC Comics, with its main studio located in California. The imprint took its name from a portmanteau of the titles of the Jim Lee comic series ''Wildcats (comics), WildC.A.T.S.'' and ''Stormwatch (comics), Stormwatch''. Its main fictional universe, the Wildstorm Universe, featured superhero, costumed heroes. Grifter (comics)
Grifter (Cole Cash) is a superhero appearing in books published by Wildstorm Productions and DC Comics. Created by artist Jim Lee and writer Brandon Choi, he first appeared in '' WildC.A.T.s'' #1 (August 1992), as a member of that titular superhero team, during the period when Wildstorm and its properties were owned by Jim Lee. In that incarnation, Grifter is a former government operative and member of the military unit Team 7 and the espionage agency International Operations. In 1999, Lee sold Wildstorm to DC Comics, and ownership of all Wildstorm characters, including Grifter, transferred to DC Comics. His history and continuity remained the same however, until DC's 2011 relaunch of their entire comics line, The New 52, which rebooted the continuity for most of its characters. Deathstroke
Deathstroke is a character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, the character first appeared in ''The New Teen Titans'' #2 (December 1980) as Deathstroke the Terminator. In his comic book appearances, Slade Wilson is a former United States Army, U.S. Army operative who gains enhanced physical and mental abilities from an experimental Supersoldier, super-soldier serum and becomes the mercenary Deathstroke.
